Let’s Impact 2 Million Over-Achieving Teens By the End of 2025

Even tuned-in parents may miss their teen's hidden struggles. Often, there is a lack of emotional resilience, because they don’t really know their true motivations, or understand how they overcompensate due to perceived limitations.

Many overachievers don’t feel good enough unless they are "winning." They rely so heavily on external validation that any criticism or failure can crush their inner world.

Help them build real awareness, confidence and emotional resilience without the pressure of perfectionism and performance anxiety.

The Challenge

Many young teens may say, “I’m fine,” with a smile or even “leave me alone,”  with a grimace, so you as a parent may not be aware of their inner world.

Many high-achieving children face immense pressure to perform, leading to anxiety stemming from a lack of self-worth. Even if a child seems self-directed to achieve, do you know why? For many the dream of external validation where they are liked, loved, popular, accepted, admired and so on can keep them stuck in a painful loop of overdoing.

Traditional methods often fail to address the root causes of these issues, leaving your child feeling unsupported and overwhelmed.

The Program: Building Confidence in Children

A Closer Look:

They learn in a simple format how their deeper behavioral patterns can change to ones that give them a solid sense of emotional stability and well-being. Remember, these patterns start in early childhood and become cemented in these formative years, so it is crucial to address them now while their brain is in this phase. They will gain a new perspective and feel more worthy, sharing more honestly and openly. They will make choices that support them, rather than feeling driven to prove something to others.

Our Approach:

Through a blend of experiential learning, questions, reflection and emotionally supportive guidance, backed by the wisdom of child behavioral studies and real-world experiences, the program guides teens through carefully crafted activities, worksheets and videos.

Meet Tracy,

Leading the movement from Anxious Perfectionism to Emotional Intelligence

Tracy Crossley is a leader and author in emotional growth and self-determination for kids and adults. With a Master's in Psychology, plus her book, “Overcoming Insecure Attachment,” and insights through close to 20 years of working with individuals and her own research, she is implicit on why “feelings matter,” as they lead to positive emotional well-being and intrinsic confidence.

Tracy spent most of her life as a perfectionist who would compete with herself, and was always doing the “extra,” to feel she had worth. As a recovering overachiever, she has witnessed the unspoken issues of those who look like they have it all together on the outside, but are anxious, or falling apart on the inside.

In working with young teens, it is a crucial time of development where the prefrontal cortex and the brain itself is in a remodeling phase, creating an opportunity to change painful behaviors and discover authentic truths about each teen’s intrinsic motivation. As the parent of three grown children, she knows the impact needed for this generation of overachievers to wield strength in facing complexities with resilience and a strong sense of self.

Tracy aims to impact 2 million young overachievers by 2025, equipping them with the skills to turn insecurities into growth opportunities and self-doubt into a foundation for success.
